Fuse started the ordinary way most small extensions do: from being annoyed at something small, repeatedly, until building a fix felt easier than living with it.
The annoyance in this case was a rate limit message with an exact reset time on it, and no good way to actually be there when it hit. Refreshing a tab for ten minutes to save fifteen seconds of typing never made sense, so Fuse exists to do that specific bit of waiting instead.
It's kept deliberately small. One job: hold a message and send it at the right time. No accounts, no dashboard you have to log into, no feature list that keeps growing until the extension needs its own settings menu just to find the thing you actually use.
